Veilance Books
In addition to our annual issues, we offer discrete collaborations with writers and artists to design and publish their books.
As always, we seek to work with transgressive writers, anonymous writers, those who challenge us and those with an intent and vision for the physical manifestation of their work.
We are looking to publish (not limited to) artist books, novelas, poetry collections, manifestos, plays and theory.
We are a surrealist press, visually and conceptually inspired by the revolutionary sentiments of our influences; those who pioneered Evergreen and Grove Press, Chicago’s own LVNG, and the surrealist manifestos and publications of the early 20th century.
The design, production and editing process will be a collaborative effort in the synergistic spirit of book making.
If you are interested in publishing with Veilance, send a pitch to veilancemagazine@gmail.com.
Please include a CV, up to five pages of the work in a pdf or google doc format, and a short paragraph describing your piece and what you envision for it.
We review pitches on a rolling basis. Responses may take up to four months, we appreciate your patience.
